Meet Dr. John Bynum
Dr. John Bynum first learned the benefits of chiropractic care after a near-death auto accident left him gravely injured. He received traditional medical treatments that were beneficial - for a time, but he really believed his recovery truly began when he finally saw a chiropractor! Only a few years later, Dr. John graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West with expert knowledge in many techniques including: Diversified, Arthrostim, Thompson Drop Table, Activator, Extremity Adjusting, and Pediatrics Adjusting. Dr. John loves to help! He is excited to have learned the skills and techniques that helped him in his recovery so that he could help others in their recovery.
Dr. John grew up in the Seattle area and attended undergraduate university at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. There he earned a minor degree in the Russian language and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After graduation, he spent 2 years teaching the English language in the Czech Republic before coming back to the U.S. and suffering a significant auto accident.
During recovery, Dr. John tried his hand in several lines of work. He was a Concierge, a Bouncer, construction worker and worked in customer service. He even worked at a funeral home and cemetery. But through all of those careers, it was helping people recover from injury the motivated him to move towards the path of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Dr. John has served on several Chiropractic Mission trips and reports how amazing it was to help people of all ages - many of whom were seeing a Doctor for the first time in their life.
Outside of the office, Dr. John loves to play hockey, hike, travel, and spend time with his wife, two toddlers, one dog and two cats.
